Around 10:XNUMX a.m., just as the night was ending and light was beginning to appear, we arrived at Minatoyama Park, where the parking lot was located, and started climbing through the castle entrance on the Minatoyama Park side.
While it is still dark, we climb halfway up the path, which has been paved and sloped to make it easier for many people to walk. I was grateful for the gentle light that illuminated the path in the darkness.
The paved road ends in the middle, and from there it merges with another castle climbing road, followed by a path of stone stairs typical of the castle ruins.

On the way, when I looked towards the city, the sunrise was starting to dawn, and the view of the orange and blue sky and the town of Yonago was a feast for the eyes as I climbed.

Where should I see “Diamond Daisen”?
I headed to the ruins of the castle tower.
At 21:XNUMX a.m., a large number of people had already gathered at the site of the castle tower ruins.

I could hear voices from the scene saying, ``At around 6 o'clock, spectators were starting to arrive in the front row.''
It seems like the kind of scenery that attracts so many people even early in the morning.

The organizers of the viewing party also set up a bonfire so that the people who had gathered could stay warm in the cold morning sky.

The sparkling morning sun rose steadily, and the way the sparkle grew stronger and illuminated the city of Yonago even more brightly seemed like a charm that could only be seen at this moment.

On this day, the Yonago City Tourism Association's "Winter Diamond Daisen Observation Party" was also being held, so a limited quantity of "beef bone soup" and commemorative ramune noodles were distributed near the gazebo of the ruins of the castle tower. The tourist information center was selling hot coffee and Yonago Castle related products, and food trucks were also coming to the Masugata area.
After enjoying the view of Diamond Daisen, I waited in line to receive beef bone soup and commemorative ramune, and warmed up by buying hot coffee.

As I was drinking hot coffee and enjoying the view from the Yonago Castle ruins, as it was winter, I looked towards Yasugi (Nakaumi side) and saw a tundra swan flying. .
